Seraina Grünewald is Professor of International Economic Law and Finance Law at the University of St. Gallen and a Part-time Professor at the European University Institute. Before joining the University of St. Gallen in 2024, she held the chair for European and Comparative Financial Law at Radboud University Nijmegen. She is also a member of the Academic Board of the European Banking Institute (EBI) and an academic fellow with the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at the University of Genoa (EUSFiL). Her expertise includes areas such as sustainable finance, central banking, the digitalization of money as well as bank resolution and is frequently commissioned by national, European, and international institutions and authorities.
